Dr. Sarah Duhon has a true passion for Maternity care. She worked on the postpartum unit as a registered nurse and lactation nurse for the years prior to attending medical school. This passion led to her writing the book, Preparing for Pregnancy, the ultimate step-by-step guide to enhancing fertility, creating a course with In Her Nature Collective for postpartum recovery, and developing Birthing In Power course. She can create a natural health care plan that takes you from the preconception phase all the way through your fourth trimester recovery, or simply walk with you through one phase of the journey. This is a great option for those looking to lose weight, increase longevity, improve quality of life, and reduce risk factors for chronic disease. General guidelines for foundations of health, nutrition, and lifestyle choices are discussed. One of our health coaches can spend one to two hours discussing the safe possibilities for your transitions, and formulate a realistic plan to achieve your health goals. This appointment is education dense, so come prepared to learn! This is not the best option for someone with complex chronic disease, but may enhance your healing

For those suffering from obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and such, we will spend several hours attempting to reveal the real root cause leading to your condition. the doctor will review your previous health history, laboratory values, and treatments After identifying the root cause of your chief concerns, we will work closely with you and other team members to find the best treatment plan to optimize your health. Our hope is to never leave you feeling confused or overwhelmed with treatments. pediatric care
In the state of Louisiana, Dr. Duhon cannot act as your child’s pediatrician. However, she can still see your child and offer advice on many safe natural alternatives to conventional therapies. Depending on your child’s case, we may use gentle detoxification techniques, herbs, homeopathy, or nutrient therapies to achieve their optimal health again. Dr. Duhon also offers a course teaching mom’s how to care for their children holistically at home to avoid unnecessary medical interventions and trips to the pediatrician.

Here at Illuminate, we specialize in environmental medicine such as mold toxicity, heavy metal toxicity, autoimmunity, neurological degeneration, and infectious diseases such as tick-born diseases. Finding a doctor that has the knowledge to assist you in recovering from your disease can be difficult. Because of the lack of knowledge regarding these particular health conditions, most doctors will send you away, accusing you of fabricated a health condition. Here at Illuminate, we want to listen and offer knowledge about your condition. We are willing to think “outside of the box” to help uncover the root cause of your disease. We will navigate one layer of the disease at a time. We do not treat the disease, we treat the whole person.

Detox Programs
Here at Illuminate, we offer group and individual cleanses that are uniquely designed for you. You must be seen for an initial evaluation with the doctor before moving forward with the cleansing to ensure it is the most safe and effective choice for you. If you do not have a complex chronic disease, you may benefit from doing a full body detox, gut cleanse, parasite cleanse, or heavy metal detox. We use a combination of physical modalities, nutrition, and supplementation during our cleanses. In office we offer ionic foot baths, a flowpressor machine, and saunas to aid in the detox experience.

We offer multiple other packages including: Family plans, Optimal Health 1 year, and Annual Memberships. Before committing to any package, Dr. Duhon has an initial intake with each person to assesses their needs before recommending anything. No one is required to purchase a package to be a member of our community.
